I live in the US Midwest with my wife and daughter, though I’ve lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Southwest, and Canada.
I don’t do social media, but I like getting email.
I do healthcare stuff. ¶
I am a nurse analyst with a neuro ICU background, a Registered Respiratory Therapist (with Adult Critical Care Specialist and Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist certifications), and an Advanced EMT. I have the usual certifications like ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
I made ABG Ninja!, a website of interactive medical study tools covering ABGs, ECGs, STEMIs, GCS, and more. I’m pretty proud of it.
Here are some other Arterial Blood Gas learning tools I made.
Also, I like to computer. ¶
I’m an active FreeBSD committer (adamw@FreeBSD.org). I served for years on the Ports Management team ("portmgr"), and I occasionally mentor. I’m also an emeritus GNOME committer (adamw@gnome.org).
Code that I’ve made public lives on GitHub.
